Welcome to Christina Lake's waterfront bed and breakfast!

 

At our waterfront log home, located on the shores of Christina Lake near English Point, just 8 km north of the Christina Lake village. We have three bed and breakfast rooms, all have lake views, private baths, queen sized beds and are non-smoking.  Nutritious breakfasts are served in our dining room or on the deck, with panoramic views of Christina Lake.

Christina Lake is the jewel of the Kootenay Boundary area, ideally situated to make the most of the region's many opportunities for outdoor recreation and relaxation. Christina Lake makes a wonderful rest stop for a night or two and is also a great place to use as a home base while exploring the region.

In the Summer months . . .

the lake offers  excellent swimming and the opportunity to enjoy a variety of other water sports.  An abundance of hiking and mountain biking trails grace our area, including both the Trans Canada Trail and the Kettle Valley Railway.  Mountain bikes and kayaks can be rented at WildWays Adventure Sports in the Christina Lake Village.

Christina Lake Marina . . .

is located within walking distance of the Sunflower Inn, just past English Bay, and offers ski, patio and fishing boat rentals.  The marina also has a small convenience store and a burger bar.

Golfing . . .

Golf Packages are available here at the Sunflower Inn Bed and Breakfast for the Christina Lake Golf Club. Practise on their driving range, play 9 or 18 holes. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Christina Lake Clubhouse Restaurant.

Golf packages for other golf courses such as the Castlegar Golf Course, Silverbirch, Balfour and Kokanee Springs Courses are available here while you stay with us @ the Sunflower Inn Bed and Breakfast.

Golfing at the Cascade Par 3 is delightful on their 9 hole course. Fine Dining at the Dueling Oaks Restaurant after your golf or day of recreating is exquisite.

Skiing . . .

we are only 45 minutes from downhill skiing and snowboarding at either Red Mountain in Rossland or Phoenix Mountain west of Grand Forks. Ski packages combining your stay at the Sunflower Inn with skiing or snowboarding at Red Mountain or Phoenix Mountain are available. Cross-country ski trails can also be found in abundance throughout our area, including the groomed Paulson cross-country trails maintained by the Castlegar Nordic Ski Club. We are just a 25 minute drive west on Hwy 3 from the Paulson cross-country ski area.
